We were blown away by our stay at Tshukudu Bush Lodge. The location was amazing with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The lodge itself provided all the comforts we needed, with spacious and clean rooms that had a balcony overlooking a fine watering hole where we could see elephants, zebras, and more. The game drives were a highlight of our trip, and our knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, Jann-Rick, made sure we had the best wildlife experiences possible. The small group setting of the drives allowed for an intimate and personalized experience. The food at the lodge was really good, with delicious 5-course meals prepared by the talented chef. we had one of the best experiences of our lives and we can't wait to return.

The value for money was really good, with beautiful rooms and a private plunge pool on the terrace. The location was perfect, secluded in the Pilanesberg national park with amazing views of the savannah. The staff treated us like royalty, making our experience lovely.
For breakfast selection, it would be better to have the main meal served at lunchtime instead. After late game drives, it was difficult to eat such a large meal in the evening.

We had an unforgettable experience at a lodge situated in the middle of a beautiful park. From our terrace, we could see giraffes, zebras, and even a hippo coming to drink at a water hole. Our guide Cole was fantastic and knowledgeable, taking us on exciting safari drives where we saw lions, rhinos, and elephants up close. The lodge provided delicious meals including a 5-course dinner, and the small game vehicle allowed for an intimate wildlife experience. We can't wait to come back!
We didn't sleep well due to a persistent rat trying to get into the cookie jar. Additionally, the lodge's use of loud generators instead of solar power was surprising and seemed out of place in a national park setting.

Located within a short drive from Johannesburg, Tshukudu Bush Lodge offers a truly immersive safari experience. Guests can expect breathtaking views of the African vista from their balcony, where they might spot giraffes, warthogs, and zebras grazing at the watering hole. The lodge provides excellent service, from the friendly and talented staff to the beautifully presented meals. With a variety of facilities, including private pools in the Lux Suites and adapters for electronic devices, guests will feel pampered throughout their stay.
One downside is the possibility of encountering snakes and other animals, which may be unsettling for those who are squeamish.
